How to vote this year:
Early voting in person starts on September 22nd and will be available up until 5pm on Saturday November 4th.
You can vote early at any early voting location, whether or not it’s in your precinct, as long as it’s in your county.
Vote by mail a.k.a. vote absentee:
Request your absentee ballot to ensure you can vote by mail.
Mail back your ballot as long as it is postmarked by Election Day and received by noon 3 days after the election (we recommend sending it as early as possible).
Drop off your ballot you received in the mail in a drop-box at an early voting location or on Election Day at your local polling location. You don’t have to wait in line!
Vote in person on Election Day between 6am and 7pm. As long as you are in line by 7pm, you can vote. You must bring a valid form of ID in order to cast your ballot.
We’ll be voting at your usual polling location.
View the list of accepted forms of ID HERE; a VA drivers license is accepted (current or expired).
